This is the start of one of the projects I did. The inspiration came for the "make believe" and "dress- up" ages of young girls. My intention was to take the whole idea of the "Toy Chest" and create a new exciting way for the child to not only interact with it, but be able to use the chest as the grow.
Throughout sketches, refinements, orthographic drawings, and model making I designed a chest that has endless possibilities of combinations, and installs creativity and imagination for the child.
