For this design I was inspired by liquid timers and how liquid can flow through a tube, showing time. Looking at existing liquid timers, they are all desktop products, and mostly all the same shape. So my goal was to not only change the shape to give it a interesting flowing look, but to make it so it can be hung on the wall, as if it were an actual timepiece clock.
My final design was designed for someone who isn't concerned with the seconds of time, only the expression of it. Time is relative to them. Someone who also likes decor for their homes.
